The autobiographical cartoons in this gallery were created ‘on the go’ while Matuschka traveled by train through Europe, car across America or found herself on a layover at an international airport.

Always sure to pack a kit of magic markers, crayons and colored pencils, Matuschka often supplements her tool kit with lipstick, eyeliner, rouge and wrapping paper.
